Lowell Narcisse would probably on this list too but he gave up football this summer.

Absolutely nothing wrong with that decision either

He had Ivy League offers

Yeah I was thinking about Narcise when I made the list. Kid should have transferred to Auburn given their QB decisions and the fact that they recruited him.
Scott is a guy who is finally putting together nice film to make a jump to the XFL.

probably not athletic enough for the SEC.
He led the Southland in rushing (2021) with 950. Leads the FCS (currently) in passing. He's more athletic than a lot of QBs in the SEC. Athleticism was not his issue. School choices were.

This does not accurately describe the situation with Brennan making it non sequitur. Brennan had two season ending injuries that had nothing to do with waiting one’s turn.

10 TDs in 2 games that's pretty impressive.

Nitwit has had a hard for a long time concerning the “Ivy League” situation. Ivy leagues don’t “technically” have athletic scholarships. They offer athletes the opportunity to attend through use of the school’s endowment fund. The outcome is the same. Scotlandville HS has a RB at Yale (Trenton Charles) under a this scenario. I Never understood why some guys get all worked up about this.

He was headed to Harvard, as I recall. There was a bit of hand wringing on this board because he did not get an offer from LSU until late in the cycle.
I saw it posted here recently and it’s so true.
Les mikes screwed that kids life up by offering him late as a bail out and tempting an 18 year old to make a dumb decision
The guy could have graduated from Harvard by now but instead has a Frankenstein transcript of credits from all over the place chasing the dream.

Dude could have gone to Harvard
And been way outclassed by every non-football player there. Scott had a 27 on his ACT.That’s not bad, but it’s not great, either. In fact, that’s a disqualifying score for an Ivy League School unless you have other factors in your favor - Scott had two!

He should go back to Zachary and be a politician, they seem to need some direction now.

These comments seem to be rhetoric of the working class. That rhetoric is driven by the idea of "get degree" ==> "get job". "Got transcript? get job". The fact is non of us know what Scott's aspirations outside of football are, nor whether Harvard best served them. He's obtained two degrees. Maybe he's a politician. Maybe a lawyer. NFL Coach. Broadcaster. Who knows? Seems like the kind of guy who knows what he wants. Good luck to him.
