I’m not here saying that the democrats have it right on immigration and border control. I think much of what is happening on that side is flawed thinking. I live in a border state, and I empathize with the Republican politicians that are faced with the systemic issues created by the current policy and the influx of migrants. That doesn’t mean I have to agree with using these people as props and dropping them off in Martha’s Vineyard.

Isn't Martha's Vineyard a "sanctuary city," if so, they should be welcoming all illegals with open arms.

The people are props to the Left, as well. They're used as political cudgels to alter the voting demographics. The Left don't give a shite about them, they just like that it waters down Right's voting/political power.
Border states sending them to places such as MV makes the real, legitimate issue of changing areas and declining neighborhoods very, very real. Nothing the Left hates more than a mirror.

You’re acting as if DeSantis dropped them off in the middle of the Sahara, gave them a water bottle, and wished them the best of luck.
