$399 is steep for a shield. With the promos S&W runs you can be $350 on this gun pretty much all year long.

Shield or Shield PLUS?
There's a difference! This is the cheapest I've seen the new PLUS variant. But it's the stripped down, plain jane model.
I'd spend another $50 and get the deal that PSA has.
Shield 9 Plus, with night sights and it's cut for a red dot, 4 extra extended mags, bug out bag and first aid kit.

Saw a P365 for $399 yesterday. Those things were damn near $700 two years ago.
