I have about 400sqft to sod, can I do it now or just wait till spring? Laying celebration Bermuda.

It's never too late! Celebration will do fine installing it now.

I agree - southern LA you can sod year round if need be.

In St. Francisville, laid centipede around Thanksgiving last year, and it came in just fine. I think it actually was better as it was not as hot, didnt have to water as much. Plus you dont want a dirt/mud spot over the winter

I did about 10 pallets of centipede once in December, no issues.

Just laid 3/4 of a pallet. Other than water, what can i put on it between now and spring...winterizer, dimension?

No herbicides, pre- and post-, or nitrogenous fertilizers until next spring.

I'm planning on laying for a new construction in about 3 weeks. Everyone I've talked to has told me you are pretty much good through the end of October, and even letter except that the seams may not fill in until spring.

Pretty much - but if you notice any signs of lawn fungal disease, for example gray leaf spot, or insect damage, it’s OK to apply fungicides or insecticides to the sod without any issues.

Not to hijack but where can I buy just a few squares of sod around Baton Rouge?

Honestly, nothing now.
Wait till Summer. Let it get firmly established before you start shocking it.
I now realize one can overthink Centipede.

Home Depot usually has it

Woener Turf on Airline in SE BR usually keeps a pallet or 2 of different grass types to sell individual pieces but sometimes they run out. If you live a good drive away you might want to call first.
