Yeah, but they don't let you go left off of Highland leaving via that route with contraflow. Since you have two lanes of contraflow on Highland, seems that (Highland to Stanford) would be a good route to take some of the pressure off of Lee/College.

Yes but then you are forcing those that enter Stanford from Lakeshore into one lane.

Burbank should be the option for those on highland. Make it four lanes of contraflow up to college and have cops stationed to keep the green lights going at Brubank/college...Burbank/Essen...Burbank/Bluebonnet... College (all intersections til I-10)

On way to LSU, there was a cop at Stanford and W Lakeshore with a barracade not allowing anyone to turn right on w lakeshore without a parking pass. I have not seen that ever in 20 years of being a season ticket holder.
As a result, traffic was bumper to bumper standstill on Stanford from W.Lakeshore all the way to the interstate, including the side streets. It was ridiculous.

LSU avenue (which is what you are referring to) has always been closed at highland. If you want to take Stanford take South Stadium off campus.
