10 team standard scoring

I have 1st dibs on claim this week. Not sure I'm really feeling using it on Wilson thoughts? I also have Debo already

My Rbs

Kamara
Akers & Henderson
Hunt
Carter

I definitely need some help here. I think I can snag Herbert after waivers. Any word Najee what about his backup?

Probably #1 waiver choice with Mitchell's expected time out. Don't expect a whole lot out of him though. You kind know what you'll get with the SF offense and his track record. They may move Deebo back into more of an RB role as well. Who knows.

Exactly, just not really wanting to use this #1 on Wilson. Tempted to let someone else get him and hold my #1 for someone else in the next couple weeks.

I wouldn’t bet on Wilson. Even if he does get the role, his upside is low. When he’s been the starter it’s been hoping he falls into the end zone or catches enough passes to be valuable, but he’s not offering much in yards

TDP or Jordan Mason are the upside plays. TDP seems to fit the profile better of what we’re looking for, but neither has the elite speed that has been prevalent for the Shanahan running scheme the past few years (Breida, Mostert, McKinnon, Mitchell). It could easily be Jordan Mason in my mind, he was active yesterday and TDP was inactive, and Mason was supposedly the star of camp. TDP has draft capital and better speed going for him

I wouldn't waste a #1 waiver on a guy who is not likely to get off your bench.

In fact, I don't really think anyone this week is worth a top waiver. Neither Mitchell's nor Najee's back-ups are very good and the o-lines aren't dominant. Most of the WRs who had big weeks may have had their biggest weeks of the year. We always overreact to week 1 (good and bad).

Robbie Anderson is a possible exception to what I said because he was already a guy to consider and he is his team's obvious #2 WR plus there is a new QB. If he and Baker have a nice connection, he could have a really good year.

I agree, I'd rather shoot my shot on TDP or Mason. They'll likely be cheaper than Wilson and have higher upside. As you said, TDP had the higher draft capital, but that didn't mean much when Mitchell beat out sermon last year. But TDP being inactive doesn't necessarily mean Mason is ahead of him either. No telling here. Take your best guess and cross your fingers.

Strictly a special teams move

It means absolutely nothing

TDP doesn’t play special teams and you aren’t going to carry 4 RBs

No way is Wilson worth #1 claim.

The niners lean heavily on deebo out of the backfield in the redzone and the offense overall is very meh.

Yep. I don't get the apprehension with Wilson. I'm not saying break your FAAB on him. But, he's gonna be a high quality flex option at the very least.

I mean if ya liked Eli Mitchell then ya gotta like Wilson. People were drafting Mitchell as an RB2
