Do people still smoke actual weed? Seems so 1970s. Technology has improved the experience greatly.

You can buy THC flower and vapes completely legally in Louisiana now.

ve spoken with a handful of people I know that went to the game. They all had an experience similar to yours. But, there is more. The behavior (language) in the stands from Southern fans was a problem too. A couple said they wouldn't go to another game with Southern. I keep hearing "two different cultures." It's a shame. That could have been a positive experience and fun environment.

Oh stfu. We sat smack dab in the Southern section & it was a blast.

People tried to hype up potential problems with this game but it was a great fricking day with no problems.

We moved down after the stands began to clear. This one cat stood right behind the LSU bench and hit his pipe right out in the open without a care in the world.

Agreed, I've never smelled that much weed in one place ever. This is coming from someone that was a regular smoker at one point in life.

Guess what? EVERY fanbase has some assholes. I don't doubt that there were a few Southern fans who showed up and acted the fool. And there will be some when any SEC school brings their fans. But I would say the overwhelming majority of the Southern fans showed up just to have a good time and support their school and didn't bother anyone.

I don't think he is being a narc. And I am not being one either. But the smell of weed disgusts me and I hate that it is literally EVERYWHERE now.

We had so many Southern fans come by the tailgate, and every one of them was awesome. I had a great time with every Southern fan I talked to. They were all excited to see their own team finally play in Tiger Stadium and every LSU fan was excited to see the Jukebox. A lot of them root for LSU too, and most are from the area so it's just talking to the people who live around you instead of people from out of state. I definitely thought it was a nice community experience.

Is it any different than people smoking cigarettes or cigars? They're all over campus too.

We sat in the 300 section surrounded by Southern fans. Most of them were quite fun to be around. One young guy behind us had a nasty mouth but was light hearted about the game. When "Hood Rich" was played those folks got wild, lol.

I absolutely hate those smells also and I know they are around...but as others will concur with, the weed smell is most prevalent.

I don't give a shite what people do, but I shouldn't have to suffer the smell of their shitty life choices (but that is a different discussion for a different day)

Them Southern fans know what’s up. Weed is far more safer than alcohol, especially when you’re drinking all day in 90+ degrees weather, and 80% humidity. More LSU fans need to get into it. Would probably cut down a lot of the alcohol OD’s that happen every Saturday. Plus you want to eat more of the delicious food when you’re stoned.

It was everywhere. I have never smelled it as much as Saturday. I expect such in New Orleans but was shocked Saturday. There was not one place on campus Saturday that the smell of weed was not overwhelming. I posted the same question Saturday but for some reason it was whacked!

Oh I completely agree, same with the cigarettes and cigars, I was just making sure you were consistent.

I can't stand when it's all you can smell. I "ghost hit" my vape so no one has to deal with my choices.
