where are y’all getting the mantis egg sacs? I’d love to hatch some in my wildflower gardens there’d be plenty to eat.

right now the most frequent visitors are about five different bumblebee types, dragonflies, butterflies and moths but also tons of pollinating flies. I have a massive golden orb weaver set up next to one of them, she’s about 6 inches long. Top of the food chain

I was able to order some off Amazon years back. Also nurseries sometimes have them.

I always used mantids, ladybugs and earthworms as beneficial members of my garden. Tried to avoid using pesticides

There are places that sell all sorts of beneficial insects. You can get the mantis, lacewings, ladybugs, parasitic wasps and flies, fungi, you name it. Unfortunately, it seems with all sellers it can be a crapshoot if you get viable eggs or larvae.
