True or False regarding Infinity War

I know, I know, another damn Infinity War thread. But sitting here watching it on FX while waiting for pizza to deliver and the scene that always annoys me just came on.
T or F, had Tony been in the room instead of Cap when Vision offered up to destroy the mind stone he would’ve said let’s do it.
Tony was obviously shook up from the death and destruction in Sokovia, he would’ve jumped at the chance to “trade lives”. One created cyborg for half the universe? Sign him up
fricking Cap and Wanda’s responses to Vision piss me off. Wanda’s specific reply that’s it’s too high a price is laughable.
Tony would’ve made the right call and killed Vision to destroy the mind stone imo
It doesn’t ultimately matter, because I think Thanos could’ve gone back to any point in time with the Time Stone to get the Mind stone but still a scene that pisses me off

Good point. Thanos could have utilized the stones he already had any number of ways to get the Mind stone, and yet he sends not 1 but 2 invading armies?
Pretty clunky thinking for such a galactic warrior.

Honestly, it’s kind of a tragedy they didn’t make Ultron way worse and he weigh on Tony’s psyche throughout Phase 3. Ultron should have killed at least 10 million people, and then leave it open to Ultron returning at the end of Age of Ultron.
I think in Civil War and in Endgame Tony should have been so traumatized over Ultron he imagined and was projected through Stark Industry programming him walking around him at all time taunting him over his inevitable return and how Tony was the biggest menace to humanity and led to their destruction. Like on the Guardians ship when he’s dying, Ultron would call Thanos a pussy and tell Tony to not worry that he’ll take out the other 50% of all life. Then when Tony snaps with the Infinity Stones he destroys both Thanos and all remains of Ultron.
Can’t see how you can put Ultron in Infinity War without hijacking it, but I would have liked for when Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor take on Thanos in Endgame Tony’s implanted delusion of Ultron sitting on the ridge basically eating popcorn as Thanos puts out a genocidal plan Ultron would approve of.

Frac,
I’m not sure I agree. His character arc was always “I can think of a better way”. I don’t have to let someone die or sacrifice myself.
In the same movie Strange has to be the one to make clear he’d let Stark & Peter die b4 giving Thanos the time stone.
Also it wasn’t his decision to make. The only one with the power to destroy vision was Wanda. Even if he disagreed how does he convince Hulk, Wanda, Shuri, & T’Challa to kill vision?
Same outcome if he is in the room IMO

In (comic book) reality, there is no way Ultron did. Ot leave a drone with a copy of his intelligence tucked away somewhere. It's almost impossible to believe at the end of A2 they really did kill every last single copy.

True, but if Tony had been in the room and made that call, Strange might never have had to give up the time stone.

I hate that they weren't able to work in the Vision/Wanda/Simon Williams triangle into the story. Simon Williams was my favorite Avenger back around 1980.
