Let’s be objective and recognize BYU’s initial apology and banishment of a fan in the immediate wake of the accusation is all it took for the race-baiters to consider themselves the righteous victors in this situation. No amount of evidence or facts to the contrary would sway their belief, because to them, BYU has already admitted to it.

I vehemently disagree with Dawn’s decision and her doubling down is only making it more humiliating for our university. I guarantee a vast majority of our fanbase also feel this way, however she’s earned the sway she has with our AD and there’s no way he’s going to risk pissing her off by not taking “her side” on a race-based matter.

I’m also objective enough to recognize her hypocrisy in going along with an apparent hoax despite her reaction to Mizzou’s AD doing the same thing to SC a few years back.
