So far under Davis, the oline has struggled the last two years. Some of it is personnel. The issues on special teams related to oline is inexcusable with players missing key assignments.
Until LSU gets a bell cow at RB and defenses start respecting the run game will help the passing game because right now teams are gonna tee off on the QB because they don't respect the running game.
Coach O made the right decision migrating to the spread offense but you can't neglect the running game. Even Bama struggled with their normally dominant run game last year and it cost them a natty.
Daniels was fine, Nuss will play a lot in the Southern game, probably most of the second half.
It was much easier with LSU trying to come back because FSU got way too conservative protecting the lead which most teams do. If they call Taylor in bounds the game is over.
With that said, LSU has to get much more creative offensively to get the run game going and hopefully Emery will help at RB when he returns. They also need to get Daniels more hot reads when you know the blitzes are coming. LSU still has not thrown to the RB's like they did with Heliare in 19 but they are making that effort to get the TE's more involved. It's hard to get the RB out when they need him to offset the OL deficiencies.

Expectations were allowed to be set high
This is why our fan base sucks so much. They look at all the stuff that doesn’t matter and set expectations like media, hype videos, highlights, coaches salary, star ratings. Instead of how these kids play together , how the grasp the coaching concepts and playbook. nobody seen that until Sunday night. After the first two games is when expectations should be set

I stopped reading right here because this is absolute bullshite and no reason to read the rest of the book you posted.
Every SEC and big time college football program has fans that are patinate and opinionated. NOT JUST LSU!!!

We truly have the worst fricking fan base I’ve ever seen.
How about the Delaware Blue Hens? Do you frequent their board? Are you sure they aren't worse?

If they call Taylor in bounds the game is over.

Wasn’t expecting a 2019 run but I thought Kelly was more Sabanesqe and we could except some Head blowing up Emotions on the sidelines ! I can’t remember watching him coach before as I never liked ND but it was like come on man Raise Some Hell ! & Hell Yeah going for 2 after driving 99 yards was the Big Time 100 million dollar Balls move !
And on a different note…I told my son before Masson’s injury “he’s got a weird arse jump that looks like he’s going to hyperextend his knee “ then he did that exactly the same celebratory “jump” and Bam ! Out for the year ? That Sucked ! Hope he gets through it soon. Now his backup thank God looks like a starter too.

Did you perform an analysis of the other big football schools' fan bases before you made this allegation? Or are you just guessing?
Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Texas, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Penn State, USC, Clemson, Miami, FSU, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, Auburn, etc, etc, etc???
You don't think those fan bases say some crazy stuff when they're struggling?
There are nutty fans in every fan base. We're no worse than the others.

Dude, you want a head coach with “head blowing up emotions on the side line.” You deserve to be called out for being a window licker.
