And Josh Booty agreed to accept "some" of the blame for the UAB loss and got absolutely barbequed for it.

That's not a leader. When you, or your unit, are performing at the worst level possible, you do NOT call out other units of the team no matter how bad they are.

miles should have hired a D.C. and at the very least chosen one coordinator.

17 points off of turnovers for GA. Can't blame him.

The offense put 38 points on the board and gave UGa 17. That's a net of 21. LSU should not get blown out at home when the offense nets 21 points.

think about the players we lost from last year's team: Zenon, Chevis Jackson, Highsmith, Dorsey, Luke Sanders, Steltz. Does not take a rocket scientist to fugure there's GOT to be a drop off in production, regardless of the talent that replaces them. You CANNOT make up for that departure of EXPERIENCE in one year.

We have lost a lot of players from our defenses in the past. Many times. Name one year out of the 114 seasons of LSU football prior to 2008 when our defense was worse than this year's defense.

The Defense did their job right after halftime. Made Georgia punt

The offense did their job six times in the game, scoring five touchdowns and one field goal. Doing your job on one possession is not going to cut it.

did think the "not gonna comment on the schemes I just try to do my job" line was much more interesting.

Yes. That's as close as you will see to a player openly blaming the coaches. And of course, he just came right out and did blame the offense, too.

If you aren't doing your own job, it comes off looking bad when you complain about others not doing theirs.

Alem and his buds need to learn how to pressure a QB, tackle a RB or cover a WR before they complain about the offense doing essentially nothing but saving them the embarrassment of giving up another easy touchdown by the opponent's offense. If Lee doesn't throw any of those three interceptions, but they all fall incomplete instead and we punt, Georgia scores a minimum of 17 points on those three possessions anyway.

A leader, who happens to play defense, doesn't blame the offense for not winning a game in which the defense gave up 38 points on our home field.

I am not taking up for the defense. I am just stating the defense did its job right after halftime and the offense could have done a little more that 1 yard. Georgia scored a touchdow right after the punt.

Our 2001 defense wasn't very good. We'll see how they finish up

He just stated the obvious; having said that,
we allowed more than 14 pts.
there is plenty of poor execution to go around.

Thats what I got from it.

WOW
right there, he knows how shitty the defensive scheme is

Dont think we're looking at a leader here. Just a very frustrated but talented kid.

He is basically saying that the quarterbacks suck, the defensive coordinators suck, and the offensive coaches suck. Can't blame him.

To be fair, he spreads it around pretty good...

"It's hard to come back from that. But it wasn't just the offense. On defense, we messed up big. On offense, we messed up big. We were either giving up an interception for a touchdown or they were just gashing us. You can't win like that."
