It quite clear they need to be shown the door. I'm hoping Miles has feelers out now for potential DCs

Don't think you can make the change mid-season (I think it would cause more problems than it solves). Hopefully, we'll put the feelers out and make a solid hire during, or shortly after, bowl season.

Miles has a winning combination at DC and he isn't going to fix what an't broke!

LSU's coach haters and the Rant's clueless Brain Trust are pissing in the wind on this subject.

The campaign against our DC's this year is just like last years failed campaign against Punt-Ugly!

Even clueless geeks get the picture after a couple of years.

I definately think we can do better with the Co-DC fiasco, however, if anyone thinks Miles will do anything more after the season than name one or the other officially the DC, (prolly Mallory) You are all just pissing in the wind. What in Miles' past bx makes anyone think he will fire any of his staff over 3 losses?

Gave up 50 points twice in a season for the first time in the history of LSU football. That should be reason enough

I couldn't agree more, but what if the new girl, the homewrecker and cheater, is an upgrade in looks. Shouldn't that be a consideration? Just like one really hot DC would be an upgrade over two plumpish but cool coordinators. If you know the relationship won't last longer then 4-5 years, ala DC's looking for head coaching jobs or you latched on to the crazy hot chick, always go for the hot DC...er, I mean hot chick.

Not that I don't agree they need to go, but how many of those 50 pts were scored when the defense wasn't on the field?

I'm not the defensive expert that truely many on here are, but I see a release of Mallory and BDP staying on as an assistant/recruiting coordinator. The guy has a way with the prospects and is so valuable in that area. Despite what many on here say, he isn't a bad football coach either, just not a DC.

isn't going anywhere, unless he gets pissed about the demotion and decides to leave. Miles will not release him.

DAMN, that was a long-winded way of saying "New DC wouldn't get the warm and fuzzy if we fire the old DC mid season"!

Its time to make a change at DC after the Arkansas game. We need to get a decent start on getting a qaulity DC in here.

LSU cannot settle for mediocrity....well okay LSU settled for poor when hiring Malleveto. A mediocre DC would be a huge upgrade
