I’ve been watching football for 50 years and never saw what happened Sunday

A blocked field goal, blocked extra point, two fumbled punt turnovers, and a flee flicker that scored all in one game.
Add on a star player getting hurt for the season on a simple celebration and I’ve seen it all.

That game was literally the definition of the worst thing that could go wrong in a football game.

And still battled back to only lose by 1.
It sucks and is inexcusable and every coach’s and player deserves all the criticism but they did show some give a shite in the 4th quarter. There were games over the last two seasons where if the team was behind late they just quit.

Kelly will be great but that game was bad coaching, execution, and luck. Nothing was on our side and the playcalling/execution was awful.

I guess you never watched Gerry DiNardo coach

Watched Mike Archer coach. Watched Curly Hallman coach. Watched Gerry Dinardo coach. Watched Nick Saban coach.
Watched Les Miles coach.
Watched Ed Orgeron coach.
Watched Brian Kelly coach since Cincinnati.
And the team on the field Saturday was the most poorly prepared and coached football team I’ve ever seen in the LSU uniform. Bar none.

Well if that's not overly dramatic then I don't know what is.

Meh... The UCLA game was much worse. And Troy. And Miami of Ohio. And the 2011 NC game.

No one seems to give a shite about the results either, all they care about is the big words BK uses at TJ ribs or after a loss in the press conference.

This is a good summation to put it into perspective. Pass protection, FG protection, and the muffed punts were certainly all terrible.
Don't know if I remember such a terrible performance that included these in one game. It was bad.
There is noway Nabers remains the punt returner. It's in his head now. But if he was the best performing returner in practice, I'm a little worried for sure.

I might be willing to give him some benefit of a doubt because you are playing in a dome and the ball tracking is different and maybe harder to see. But FSU guy did OK. I could even give him some benefit of a doubt if he wasn't fair catching and he knew he was about to get hammered. But these were fair catches....you can't let that happen.
He will either have more determination to never miss another one or he is shell shocked and be scared every time he goes back there.
