A little off the typical here but interesting.....Will Redstone in Huntsville win out over Colorado? Seems like its happening finally.

Redstone in Huntsville

Won out in every single category.

Don't be shocked if the administration forces it to blue Colorado.

The Space Command at Shriever AFB is an amazing, deep underground facility that has a NATO conference center that was designed and built by Disney. They've been commanding our defense from space for many decades. Redstone blows shite up. Why put it there? NASA? They can't even get a rocket off the ground.

Don't get me wrong. I really like Huntsville. It is a nice town that seems to be making all the right business moves. I just think the decision is easiest to go with Colorado, coupled with the political pull a Dem state gets from the administration.

Why put it there?

Missile Defense Agency (DoD)
Army Aviation and Missile Command
PEO Missiles and Space
DIA MSIC (Missile and Space Information Center)

Just a few areas at Redstone not well known that deal with Space Defense related items.

Reason enough right there for me to want it to go somewhere else.

Okay, wait, being associated with NATO is a formula for winning?

Arent they the ones in charge of our missile defense system where some of the doors are so rusty we cant even open them, whose training is so pitiful that most couldnt figure out how to launch a missile in time, even if our enemies sent it by donkey cart versus the supersonic version?

Yeah sound like a decision the current admin would make. Go ahead and install the flagpoles for all the appropriate diversity groups.

As pointed out above, The location may be chosen for a myriad of reasons. But as this article points out the Huntsville/ Redstone area is not a bad place to live.
