Everything I’ve come up with indicates there is absolutely zero formal process. If the President intends for something to be declassified, it’s declassified.
So, in that case, there's no official record of which documents are classified as top secret and which are not.
Does that seem remotely possible?

Oh I’m sure it ends up on record, but the act itself of a President declassifying a piece of information , no I don’t at all believe there’s a process or requirement of contemporaneous journaling of that event. Or at least there doesn’t have to be. I’d be happy to be shown incorrect.

Classification levels change all the time, in real time. Comey actually outlined this nicely when he excused away the Hillary email server debacle. Also understand, a classified cover-sheet does not a classified document make.
But none of that matters since presidents have loads of classified material in their personal papers when they leave office. The bar is pretty low for classification with direct communications from a POTUS. Obama's were transferred to DC at some point after he left office and the rest stayed in Chicago. This was confirmed by NARA.
The raid was about alleged hiding of documents. Not the presence of documents per se.

Got it?

Does anyone know the content of the alleged classified documents? Does anyone know when the ones in Trump's desk (the major crime, apparently) were first placed in there?
If they are documents related to Crossfire Hurricane, then they were declassified.
Could they have been declassified otherwise, possibly.
All the contents list says is that they were MARKED classified. That marking is not determinative of their classified status.

He is the clearance and answers to no one on this.
The president is like a king in regards to classified material. It's why we have/had free and fair elections. We entrust him to lead our nation.
