FSU is an awful fan base and New Orleans is an absolute shithole.

It’s not just any site it’s the damn Dome baby.
This was really a great take in 1982.
The dome is so far behind.

The dome is a cool venue… not sure when the last time you went was

otowntigerThere’s a much better chance of 30k FSU fans in NOLA for this game than there is 20k LSU fans in Orlando next year.

Thank God we are NOT playing in TS this weekend as RAIN is the order of the day in BTR.
I like neutral site games at interesting venues. I have attended all of them and will be in the Dome tomorrow night. Looking forward to Las Vegas, 2024.

It’s also gotten ungodly expensive to go to the theme parks and the stadium (and city overall) sucks. We’re not traveling to play what should be another mediocre FSU team possibly coming off of a coaching change

It's already happening.
You do realize those H&H you mentioned can,be changed to neutral site at any point?

To be fair, it’s not like the Superdome hosts the game for free
Tell me you don't know how this works without telling me you don't know how this works.
You believe LSU pays for use of the superdome??super dome???

1. No, I’m saying that it’s not free. Whether the Sugar Bowl pays and then factors that into their guarantees to the teams, or the Superdome takes a fee directly from the ticket sales, it’s still part of the calculation that determines how much LSU ultimately gets paid to show up.
2. GFY.

5 mil. That's the payout. It's that simple
There is no monetary risk, they know that if they play the game their payout is a set price.

Does this mean it will be more like a home game for LSU?

There’s no monetary risk for LSU.
There is cost for the organizers, which is built into the payouts. That was my only point - that while LSU might not be paying those costs directly, they are still being held back by the organizers. Unless you think the Sugar Bowl is operating at a loss.

Exactly. That's what this is about LSU.
LSU doesn't care what the monetary risk to the sugar bowl, superdome, etc is nor should they.
They are guaranteed 5 mil, which will be a large profit with much less work and risk to LSU than a home game.
Don't see what your argument is?
It's an easy payday for the teams, which is why it will continue

I wasn’t really arguing anything until you came in calling me stupid. I was just pointing out that the operating cost has already been factored into that $5.2 million number.
It’s a bit of a moot point anyway because the game day operating costs aren’t nearly as much as folks would think, about $92k per home game for LSU in 2019.

Why was FSU louder than LSU?
