One thing that always seems to get ignored innn BK peoples analysis is the fact that a top 5 coach in football in Kelly is going against a guy that no one was sold would even be retained last year. Seems like quite a large advantage.

That guy no one was sold would be retained last year took our top 5 coach into overtime just last year. And that was a pretty good Notre Dame team and Florida State is better this year. His team seemed pretty well coached Saturday, but lacking the crazy athletic skill positions on both sides of the ball that the FSU teams of 20-30 years ago had. Their RBs are really good, though. The previous poster asked what they think their path to victory would be is simple: run the ball, run the ball, run the ball, and try to hit on some big play actions down the field, while holding our RBs in check and getting our QBs in lots of 2nd and 3rd and longs.

I don’t think they’ll do it—I think in the end we’re just too talented and are gonna be too well prepared/coached, but their points in the OP seem reasonable from an FSU fang’s perspective.

That is a fact.

Therein lies his problem. If he gameplan for LSU the same as he did for Notre Dame, he will be run out of the Dome with all the skill position players LSU will send at him in waves. Something ND lacked.
