TCM Part 2 was the best. I loved that one.

Lick my plate, dog dick!

Get that bitch leatherface! Get that bitch!

Such a campy horror movie, like it was directed by Pee Wee Herman or Jim Varney. Very unique. Dennis Hopper and his dual chainsaws. I was the right age when it came out and loved it, but I wouldn't say it holds up today.

The original, absolutely holds up.

Complete trash. Am I missing something? Really bad actors, slow as shite, and not scary. Very retarded

It was extremely innovative and basically a student film. Groundbreaking honestly, for the horror genre. I think you are expecting 2022 results and watching a very dated masterpiece. I do enjoy the remake with Biel though, but its nowhere close.

Tobe Hooper knew he could never top the original and was not interested in doing the sequel. Finally he relented and agreed to do it, but only if he had full creative control. The end result is the batshit crazy TCM2. And thankfully it is nothing like the original and can stand as it’s own. Hooper was a genius.

I looked up TCM2 because of this discussion and saw that it was on Amazon Prime but not anymore after today. So I watched it tonight. It was pretty dumb, but it had some interesting set design and they obviously had fun making it.

Psycho (1960) ftw. But the OG Chainsaw Massacre is probably second for me.

It's wild to know that both films were inspired by the same man, Ed Gein.
