In an extensive interview with journalist Bari Weiss on her podcast, "Honestly," former Trump administration Attorney General William Barr said that "if I had to bet" who'd be elected president in 2024, he'd say Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
He actually accuses Trump of dividing and pimps up the DOJ/FBI & Wray.
I wonder what Barr will say about this?

Anyone with an IQ above 100 and lived in Atlanta back in the 80s and 90s knows that Bob Barr is someone who gets his kicks off vilifying those close to him politically who are more successful than he is. He's a very insecure and self-hatting individual. It's too bad because the dude is very smart but has a total lack of wisdom. Jealously has encompassed his entire being.

I'm beginning to believe Desantis is establishment. Or in their camp enough that they don't fear him at all. GOPe should have everything to fear from a conservative holdng the highest office. And the fact he is in a tossup between Desantis and Youngkin says a lot. Either one fits the GOPs criteria.

If I had to guess....Biden's handlers lead to Obama 2.0 with Susan Rice as the acting President.
In the video clip above Biden gets away with mocking Trump by declassifying like Jesus blesses. (When it has been reported that President H W Bush in a meeting did exactly this)
When some guy was getting up to leave because he did not hold a TS clearance. Daddy Bush declared him cleared like Jesus. So the President has the sole authority.
But notice that after Biden mocks Trump in a horrid way; he then says he isn't going to comment let the justice dept take care of it..
And the media let's him slide.

This quote says it all about the MAGA crowd.
Yeah, let's criticize Youngkin who flipped a blue state to red - not by running to the center but by embracing traditionally conservative values that matter and talking to parents.
And let's also label DeSantis (who is going to win Florida - recently thought to be a swing state - by 10+ points) as GOPe.
The MAGAts will not be happy unless candidates like Desantis and Youngkin make VOTER FRAUD their #1 and only issue.

I mean, why they gotta shut off the quotation marks right after “if I had to net who’d win President in 2024” then the venerable cornerstone of integrity of news outlets Yahoo News has to jump in and say it themselves…..”he’d say Ron Desantis”. With the not so subtle photo of TRUMP and Barr to lead it off.

Pretty dumb take, if you ask me. I think most 'MAGAts' appreciate Youngkin's flipping VA (while rightly criticizing his inaction/delayed reaction to the SCOTUS protests in VA and otherwise milquetoast GOPe-ish nature) and most MAGAts also sincerely love DeSantis' who definitely gained popularity channeling Trump- and exceeding it in many ways (Youngkin does not possess the Trump or GOVERNOR DeSantis backbone).
The concern on DeSantis is that he lacks independent wealth. Thus, to get him across the line to POTUS, he will be dependent on the GOPe big donor class. Trump is not beholden in the same manner and now has (or by every reasonable calculus SHOULD have) a personal vendetta against the Fourth Branch that with a second term should begin the dismantling of the utterly corrupted SWAMP.

AG Barr endorsed Youngkin slightly, then full bore endorsed DeSantis. Youngkin only won because the GOP establishment would not allow the democrats to use bird-dogging of FBI militia clones to associate Youngkin as a racist.
The GOPe stepped in and through Youngkin denounced Trump, then proceeded to stop the democrats from counting mail in ballots for 3 days after the election.
Then the headlines were that VA going R was a bellwether for Pence to be President.

The depth of the Biden admin's corruption is Obama 2.0 not even trying to cover it all up. So Youngkin & DeSantis are meaningless at this point. One is a new Governor, the other is running again for Governor.
They are shiny objects being used and it sucks.
