Grid can't come close to handling the EVs, and that is assuming that people could afford them anyway in a Stagflation economy that will require massive money printing just to take care of illegals and the unemployed.

Your point is spot on but an understatement, FB. Truth be known, they are crashing the whole thing.

So what happens to the gulf coast when we get a major hurricane that knocks out electricity and a large portion of customers are without power for 3+ weeks. They then lose the ability to go to the gas station to get fuel for their generator to run at least the fridge to keep their infants milk from spoiling and maybe a small AC unit. I don’t have a problem with evs but this whole ‘all vehicles must be EV in the future’ idea is incredibly short sighted if not down right ignorant. The ICE revolutionized pretty much everything in a way that EVs have not been proven to be able to do much less replace.
