Hertz gasoline ripoff

Second time in last 6 months I have returned a car to Hertz with a full tank only to be charged for two gallons (in this case $20.00). Returned early AM so no agents on duty and no way to get a receipt in person. I emailed verify@Hertz.com and am getting a refund after providing receipt but this is inconvenient and a ripoff.

In middle of pandemic, National/Enterprise went on a run of this…. 3/4 cars over 6 weeks I returned in NO/Nashville were charged gas fees. Our travel dept called the area managers and squared it away.
If I drop off personal rentals without rep, I take pic of mileage/fuel before walking to terminal.
