That was 3 years ago, and before the Broncos sold for almost $5B. Local ownership isn’t happening nor will the Saints sell for a home team discount. Austin, Orlando, OKC, Raleigh have so much more money and better futures it will be very difficult to avoid a relocation if we keep electing Teedys.

This.

It's delusional for one to firmly believe that the Saints will never move from New Orleans. It could happen, after Ms. Benson's time has passed.

1. Jerry Jones is the head of the committee that decides relocation. He also cosigned the loan for Mark Davis to get Bank of America to make sure the Raiders moved to Vegas instead of San Antonio. If he goes through that much trouble to make sure that the Raiders did not move to San Antonio, WTF makes you think that they would allow the Saints to move to Austin?

2. See above #1, but add in the fact that a move to OKC would be blocked by the Chiefs as well as the Cowboys.

3. Any move to Orlando would be blocked by the Jaguars, Bucs, and Dolphins.

4. It is in the expansion agreement that no team can move to a city in North Carolina or South Carolina with the approval of the Panthers. So Raleigh is out.
