All of a sudden, I'm way less nervous about the starting pitching heading down the stretch. "Mo'ron" picking up Quintana and Montgomery may have just done the trick. Flaherty is ramping up in rehab starts as well.

Line up is starting to gel and take pressure off the pitching staff.

Good times. Cardinals are no Philadelphia Phillies mind you...everyone in the NL East would tank to face the Cardinals instead of those Phillies.

The Mets and Braves are significantly better than the Cardinals, so no, they are definitely not scared of them.

Congrats on 5 in a row, you're almost at 70.

That was such a dumb post huh. Luckily for the Phillies the Brewers also suck so it's a suck off for final wildcard spot.

Pretty crazy to think the Cards are going to have the #1 and #2 NL MVP vote getters. And both were acquired for basically free.

Quintana and Montgomery were excellent additions that allow Hicks and Pallante to go back to the bullpen where they belong.

Back in 2018, I was ready to move on from Mozeliak. But he's done a relatively good job since then.

I'd still like to see Carlson, O'Neil, and DeJong pick it up. There's a lot of nights they all go 0-4. If the Edman from the first half of the season returned, he would be a better leadoff option than Carlson. I'd like to see Donovan hit leadoff more. He has been an OBP machine. Nootbaar and Pujols have really stepped up.

I don't get why anyone would be afraid of the Phillies. They have a good rotation. But their lineup leaves a lot to be desired without Harper.
