Yes it hurts everyone but the team with the best 1-2 punch is impacted most. Would anyone disagree that Scherzer/deGrom is the best 1-2 punch?
I think fewer days off always rewards depth. No coincidence that the Dodgers won their only WS in a no days off format. Braves pen was worn down by game 7 and Dodgers still had a fresh Urias down there.

Most wins by MLB clubs since 2000
2 teams in the top 5, who haven't tanked, sell off, and have more wins, more division titles, more playoff wins, than many of them combined.
And none of the 2 "rebuilt" Pssst, it's Dodgers and Cardinals
Also one of them will have 2 of top10-15 prospects by years end, and will have top3 player in walker. Yet never had to tank, rebuild.
