Jacques Doucet Gives an Update on the QB’s

Jacque Doucet seems like a reasonable enough guy, he had a half hour interview with CBK a couple of months ago that I would encourage you to check out if you haven’t heard it. Here’s a LINK I was surfing the internet earlier and came across this tweet from Jacque:
Quarterback Myles Brennan has had some good practices as of late and passing well. There’s still three weeks to the season opener, but at this point Daniels still appears to have the lead, perhaps followed by Nuss. There’s a scrimmage in Tiger Stadium this Wednesday that could play a large role in separating things. We’ll see how it all plays out!
FWIW, Nick Dias replied saying, “It’s Nuss or Daniels. BK said “Nuss would’ve taken first team reps” on Thursday. Nuss is also taken first reps in every drill in Fall camp.”

I feel like if Nuss was healthy they wouldve went around 50/50 on thursday with the first team

Exactly, and he wasn't there, so how can anyone name a leader til they're both put in a scrimmage situation with 1s. That's like saying JD won the race but Nuss wasn't in it....makes no sense

The reporting on fall practice has been poor to put it as politely as possible. You have to remember these are the same people who thought Max Johnson was the second coming last summer and were in love with TJ Finley the summer before.

How do you know this? It seems like the media is being given more access this year than ever before

They have been given more access, I didn’t say otherwise. Im talking about the reporting, it hasn’t been very good especially considering they’ve been given so much more access.

What do you think is lacking and how would you improve it? I think Jacque and Brody Miller have been doing a decent job

Nah... the reports have been poor to you because they don't fit the narrative on what you want to hear.

We’re getting more narrative than information and I get that some people like that but it’s more commentary than it is reporting.

Wrong, when you leave out tons of info that others are actually reporting or you misreport what’s going on that’s bad reporting. Your comment is a projection.

Nuss has definitely taken first team reps every practice, but we've also heard from Jeremy Hill that immediately after they let the media leave out on the day he was there (he got to stay because he was a former player I guess), Daniels took most or all of the first team reps.
Basically put, they are giving these guys every chance to take the job. I'm not "start Brennan" or "this is a cover, Brennan will start" guy. My guess on that business is that Brennan is a 6th year guy who is who he is at this point. I think they are trying to see if the others' potential in this offense is better than what Brennan can deliver.
My thinking is, if it's Daniels, Brennan will be the backup. If it's Nuss, Brennan will be the backup. Brennan is the high floor guy.

What media members do you think are leaving out tons of info?

We discussed this Friday afternoon so why pretend like you’re legitimately asking a question?

Who do you honestly think is leaving out tons on info? It’s my impression that you disagree with the opinion of every single media member about the qb race, but do you really they’re leaving out tons of info?

ffs, cbk is smarter than all of us combined and hopefully laughing at all this crap.
mb starts and rolls or gives one of the others a chance to take it. nothing new about any of this

Brennan will be the starter for game 1. The reason Nuss and JD are getting first team reps is to see which one works best with the first team players for the back up position. This isn’t complicated.

No that isn't the case
We are 3 weeks from game one, it isn't the time to be doing stuff like that

The number 2 QB is one of the last determinations to be made.
