First, noone should ever threaten to harm or do harm to a LEO for any political reason.
Chris Wray is to blame, along with other F.B.I. brass for any ill will toward F.B.I. personnel. He promised to clean up Comey's mess and hasn't done so.
The DOJ knows it's stepped into a big pile of crap and still wants the American public to lick their boots. Sorry, it doesn't work like that.
Americans want the same accountability from its Federal law enforcement officials as they do from us. Rules for thee but not for me simply won't fly anymore.
Trump has proclaimed the "Emperor Has No Clothes" and now, Emperial Washington D.C. is embarrassed. D.C. is filled with beautiful monuments to the past. Nothing will be built to commemorate the current leaders of our country, unless a "Scorn Bush" could be planted somewhere along the Mall.
The "Elites" don't give a rat's a@@ about you or me. They only crave ego driven power. Doing what is right has nothing to do with Washington politics these days.
So, C. Wray, peddle your pity somewhere else. Many Americans can still remember the smoldering embers from Waco to the snarky smirks of James Comey and his lackeys. C. Wray, you have failed to protect your agents by your hubris and indifference.
If the F.B.I. leadership would actually lead in a credible way, Americans would begin to respect them again Till then, "No comment" would be my retort to any conversation with an F.B.I. agent.

The FBI made a major mistake by allowing itself to become weaponized by the Democrat Party. Intentionally trying to take down Flynn because Obama didn’t like him and buying into Crooked’s fake Russian Dossier are good examples of being a political arm of the Democrat Party.

I have been thinking about that a lot lately. The left has done irreparable damage to the FBI and military. I hope it was worth the cost of getting the orange man out. The military can't find any more poor white kids to fight their dumb wars.

They are the rearguard of the the establishment, attempting to prop up obviously corrupt politicians and prevent further misdeeds from being exposed or prosecuted.

This is correct. Perkins Coie is the law firm that employs Eric Holder and the same law firm that laundered the Steel Dossier.

At some point (the bad ones at least) are not LEO's. No one says the Gestapo or Stasi agents were revered LEO. Same thing - at some point journalists aren't journalists. The reverence for people doing sacred work should end for those who become profane.
