He ain’t winning with my vote, that’s for damn sure. I’m conservative as frick but he looks (literally and figuratively) slimy as hell. Hate that guy.

Does anyone actually want this guy to run?

Landry seems to exist just to start shite. Although shite needs to be started at times, he is every bit the politician that Nungesser is and seems to enjoy being the center of attention at all times.
Landry is the only one that pushed back at all against JBE.

John Schroder Is a pretty solid candidate.

I don’t think that’s an if. Landry is definitely running.
I’m hoping on a 3rd conservative leaning GOP candidate so that those two aren’t the only GOP options.
If those 3 run we'll end up with another democratic governor

And Landry pushed to hire Mexican welders over US citizens.
Landry even personally sued a reporter seeking public documents. The chief law enforcement officer of the state failung to adhere to the law himself.

Perfect. Conservative and fiscally responsible.

I do like him and think he has the potential to make a good Governor for Louisiana. I think he would do well in any primary debates.
Very curious as to Candidate Schroder’s progress in getting name recognition and raising funds will be. However, Kathleen Blanco and John Bel Edwards didn’t exactly have big head starts either.

Same way we end up with JBE. Useless candidates so some won't vote and others would vote for some POS democrat

That was fine, but he always makes a spectacle of things no matter who he is dealing with. He seems like a TV show character.

I would rather vote for a Progressive Democrat than a corrupt POS like Nunguessor.

The two best Presidents this country has seen in a while were both TV show characters.

Pretty smart of him to announce this in the Lake Providence metroplex. He’ll have the inside lane on getting those 1500 or so republican votes in East Carroll Parish.
Posted on 8/10/22 at 4:00 pm to ragincajun03
I would definitely vote nungesser over Landry

We didn’t end up with JBE simply because we had too many candidates on the GOP side.
We ended up with JBE because each time, in 2015 & 2019, enough voters on the GOP side either stayed home or voted for Edwards as a result of butthurt.
I think 2015 was mostly butthurt. In 2019, Rispone and his staff just ran a flat out horrible and lazy ground campaign.
