I hope they do something about the balls, though. I know the pace is here to stay, and I guess the strike zone as well. But as much as I like hitting home runs, I don't like seeing pop ups leave the yard against us, and I'm sure pitchers would agree.

How many pop ups did you see leave the yard? Outside of the Florida game with a 30 mph wind blowing out. I do not recall a bunch. Leave the ball alone college baseball is fun to watch again. Teams playing in little league parks is the main reason for so many HR

I sae quite a few leave the yard, and even worse, balls going oppo that hitters got underneath that still left the yard.

I hope you understand that similarly in how saying a ball was "killed" does not actually mean the baseball is a living being getting murdered, saying pop ups left the yard doesn't mean that everything was hit straight up into the air. I'm talking about balls that hitters clearly got under, that just carried and carried. And I saw a lot of them. If you're looking for a number, sorry, I didn't count them. Also, guys getting jammed and the ball flying out, was very much a thing.

College baseball was fun last year, without juiced balls. It was boring when they first switched to the BBCOR bats, but they made enough adjustments to the ball where it was fair again. We don't need nuclear balls, now.

The little league parks are a different issue. If LSU played in one of those, they probably would have broken their own NCAA home run record this year.
