All this talk of players not getting their money just sounds like speculation to me. Seems like wishful thinking. Does anybody actaully have proof of this?

No. People are talking out their asses. It is pretty clear that it is NIL related though. I would guess it's more everybody else caught up than checks bouncing. Without an NIL advantage they're the little brother in the state with a notably weird fanbase on an ugly campus with basically nothing to do in town. Plus they lost the "only Texas school in the SEC" pitch.
They're doing worse than I thought they would unless there's a big batch of 4 stars waiting to commit to them that I'm not aware of, but them being meh recruiters by SEC standards isn't.

Lol wishful thinking? On *this* board?! Noooooooooo, couldn't be. This board is the highly reasonable and objective board that will immediately declare a highly sought-after 5* to be worse than a random 3* once the 5* commits somewhere else. People here would never dream of exaggerating the decline of TAMU's recruiting apparatus.
