My FIL has too many ducks that hatched in his pond that won’t leave and we want to catch around a dozen and bring them to my pond.
Any ideas on how to catch them without killing them?

Start feeding them condition then use casting net

I lived in an apartment complex with a pond in my college years. They used chicken wire traps that resembled giant crab traps to catch ducks. It worked on some, some never went near them. I can't believe how many animals a funnel can catch.

That was actually my first deal was a cast net. My other thought is to hang a framed net above where he feeds them. Let them get accustomed to it hanging for a few weeks and then drop it on them one day

When I was at LSU, there were two mean arse Canadian geese in my apartment complex that were obnoxiously loud. Threw a cast net over both of them and put them in the back of my expedition. Drove 5 miles down burbank and dropped em off at another apartment complex.

Where ur father n law? Hawks ate all our ducks and my wife would like some more.
Feed them a while and u will be able to net them, if not pet.
