Not fully. But loss of the middle class / single family earner has. I'm open to alternative explanations as to why wages have stagnated so bad. NAFTA was mentioned and I agree with that.

So you think the government should be able to quell political speech around an election?

Dumb post of the day from you.

Do you think Thomas Jefferson would support politicians being more beholden to Pfizer and Disney more than ordinary people? The premise behind Citizen's United is corporate personhood. To me that falls apart when you consider corporations have a very limited interest in what is at stake in an election. These days they are more interested in propping up ESG scores and pushing woke content

Nope. Femimism started moving women out of the home before Reagan even ran for president.

Nothing to do with CU. Literally, nothing. What part of the CU made bribery legal?

So you think Thomas Jefferson would have voted for the Campaign Reform Act which prohibited any corporation, non-profit or union from making any political speech or electioneering within 30 days of a primary or 60 days of an election?

You seem blithely unaware of the actual Citizens United case.

NAFTA and increased labor pool through “women’s rights” and unfettered illegal immigration are both downward pressures on wages.

The increased willingness to finance things on both sides, the lender and the borrower, also increases demand. Without 7 year loans on trucks, you don’t have $90k pickup trucks. Without no-money down (essentially) home loans, you don’t get $500k “starter homes.”

loss of the middle class

That has happened due to wealth redistribution policies of the left. They want to wipe out the middle class and have the elite/ruling class, and the working poor class. People get stuck on racial because that is the carrot they use to distract while they wage class warfare. Had nothing to do with Reaganomics.
