I do get it, and there's part of me that used to like doing this. But given the current climate, and given nothing can be made without first going through the DEI filter at every studio, why want this now? This seems to be the most common complaint...that everything is a remake, a reboot, a "reimagining," a sequel, etc.

Frankly, I'm tired of watching old franchises be dug up to be shite on.
