Man puts Chevy V8 into a Tesla... Car now weighs 1200lbs lighter

Some builder/engineer guy who rebuilds old stuff on YouTube was on Rogan today.
He told a story about how Tesla literally would not sell him replacement parts for his older model car (ie, batteries, motors, etc).
So, he got pissed and put a Chevy LS v-8 into the car. He and a team had to cut the car in half long-ways and custom fab a transmission housing and drive train, then re-weld the car back together and add numerous stabilizing braces to make sure it still had safe rigidity.
After gutting all of the EV components, yet keeping every single interior alectronic the same, the car then wighed 1200 lbs less Tha it did as standard factory EV after emoving over 1000lbs in batteries and 200 lbs in motors.
