There's a smart-ish Hulk in the comics that goes by Joe Fixit (smart in that he isn't using child-like or broken English like the Savage Hulk persona). Even though he's technically the weakest Hulk, his stories (set as a gangster enforcer in Las Vegas) were some of the best Hulk stories ever.
THAT Hulk would be fun to watch.
That being said, I get the WHY they did it - Ruffalo had so little acting to do when Hulk was, well, Hulk. This keeps the Hulk on screen, but gives Ruffalo more to do.
Considering he was Human form at the end of Shang-Chi, it's confusing that he's back to the merged Hulk for She-Hulk. No idea if they'll explain that or not.

Why does Marvel give a shite if Mark Ruffalo has screen time or not? The next arse he puts in a theater seat will be his first. I had never heard of him before he landed the Banner role. Marvel ruins one of their tent-pole characters for that stroke mouthed nobody?
