I really don't understand this complaint. As long as you aren't a retard, you'll get either the window or aisle, whichever you prefer. I've never once gotten C group and I flow almost exclusively southwest. On another airline where you have an assigned seat you still don't know who's going to be sitting by you so you can still get stuck with a fat frick or something next to you.

I think it comes down to types of flyers. My parents love SWA. It's almost all they fly as they used it for work and flew alone. I may take a solo trip here and there but usually I'm booking 4 seats when I fly. Assigned seats are usually better also SWA has been consistently priceier to my destinations and a lot of times there isn't a direct.

I fly American, and I prefer to chose my own seats. It’s pretty simple.
