And to be in a position to make a run and have a good year of college football.”

Interesting.

So what does Kole Taylor look like today?

Watch the spring game... significantly improved in my opinion. Looks better blocking at point of attack, and much more comfortable carrying 30 extra lbs then when he got to school. He's gotta be licking his chops with how much Kelly would like to use a te.

The structured approach ties in well with the overall theme of accountability. Can't take days off, and imbeds that mindset for your lift, conditioning, practice reps.

I don't have any idea but hopefully he did what Kelly asked during the Spring Game, and Taylor lived in the weight room all summer.

TE is going to be interesting to watch this year. Mashburn was a blocking fool in that Florida game when Lsu kept running that same off tackle trap play over and over.

Kole Taylor had a decent spring game and had several targets, but Kelly called out the TE position as needing to develop.

It will be very interesting to see what the new weight program as accomplished with that group.

much more like a TE than a school yard basketball C.

I mean he's not a beast or anything... but I predict most will be pleasantly surprised with his progress.

BUT, I think he's a bad example or measure of the S&C group for the record.

I'm expecting progress (we don't have the roster yet) towards 2011 type speed & strength.

I think the best measure will be the extremely talented DL and their stamina as well as the DBs, which the talent level is less than what we're use to, being all over the place like an Adams, Delpit, or White used to be. They just appeared like magic when and where needed the most. That's the first, not only- but first, things I will watch for.

And always... ALWAYS: push by both the OL and DL in the 4th qtr. That one never goes away.
