The student section is getting weaker ever season

They add all this gay shite to our cheers. They add curse words to everything and in turn the university takes stuff like Tiger Rag away. They get tickets taken away from them. Let me say this I was a student from 02-06 and i'm afraid I will never see a student section like there was for game like 2003 Georgia.

you think every student section hasn't cursed this much?
i will agree it has gotten weaker. i do my part, but i blame the flagship agenda raising standards. all lot more students these days actaully come to LSU to get a good education and not cheer at football games. it sucks

I was a student at the 2003 Georgia game going completely apeshit and I will be a student at the 2008 Georgia game doing the exact same thing.

That's a lame excuse. Smarter students and good football aren't mutually exclusive.

The fact is I don't claim that "omg fans have gotten worse... I've been an LSU fans for 6 years I know everything... We were SOOOOOOO much louder and dedicated." It was during your tenure that frickers lost us Tiger Rag, so blame yourself.

bh the student section will be rocking on saturday... we're going to wake up extra early to get our appropriate amounts of bourbon in us pregame so that uga's stomach turns from the smell... im going to stop speaking on thursday so that mark and boys get everything that my vocal cords can supply.. just make sure the other sections are ready

He's right... I've only been posting for a few months on here... hmm I must not like LSU. Any its due to students like myself that the student section is so much weaker and got the loudest its been during last years Florida game since the freakin Earthquake Game...

I KNOW that in the past it was not as bad as "eff you Spurier" and "tea bag tebow" not to mention the you suck mess and the little word they put in there for the USCe game last year. I've been going to games for about 12 years, and I've never heard them this bad, and my seats are right next to the student section. We've had to protect our heads in the past from flying cups, and you hear cursing but not in mass chant. It's never as bad as what it was last year.

I was in the student section from 00 to 05 and that one is second on my list. 2001, Auburn. Night game, end of the season, for our first trip to the SEC Title game in this crazy run. It was absolutely electric.

The Georgia game in 03 was awesome. I remember when UGA busted that play for something like a 80-90 yard Touchdown in the 4th and the energy was sucked out of the stadium. The students didn't bitch at the coaches or curse the players. Instead we started the most memorable L-S-U chant that I have ever witnessed all the while Georgia was still celebrating the TD. Our players jumped up on the bleachers waving towels and this was all while we were down in the 4th, well.....I think we all know how the story ends.
Our players feed off the students section. This years SS has been weak and disappointing, but so has our competition. Turn it around and Bring them hell this weekend students.
