Multiple post on the rant today assuming that Nuss just has this QB comp wrapped in a bow.
I’m down to wait like the next but it amazes me that these posters think that Nuss who had a nice controlled scrimmage is a better player than a Player n Daniels who walked on the field as true freshman and won 9 games in a power 5 conference.
You don't get it. JD's previous experience at Arizona State in the PAC 12 conference is completely irrelevant. Not to mention that his own lame experience when put under the microscope of scrutiny reveals that he has regressed steadily each and every year he has been a college QB.
quote:
Nuss as freshman looked terrible in his only 5quarters of experience. He was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. He Brett Farved a dumb pick a threw up a prayer to bech. We would have won the Arkansas game if we stuck with max. The hyperbolic
No he didn't! You're more than a little unhinged. Watch the following link starting at the 19:00 mark for the first drive and then skip to the 21:50 mark for the second drive. At the most, this will take up approximately three minutes of your time.
LINK
First, notice Nuss's flawless mechanics. As all of his life Nuss was coached up by his NFL QB coach father who imparted on his son all of his knowledge, experience, and wisdom. Then notice how quickly Nuss gets the ball out of his hands and into the hands of his receivers. Notice how Nuss distributed the ball to Jack Bech, Jontre Kirklin, Jaray Jenkins, Brian Thomas, Jr, and Malik Nabers. Lastly, notice those next level NFL throws Nuss completed in tight windows to Jontre Kirklin, Brian Thomas, Jr, and Malik Nabers.
Did Nuss look like a still very wet behind the ears true freshman to you? Hell no, he looked like a future first rounder with elite arm talent because he is a future first rounder with elite arm talent. However, you are far too severely mentally deficient to see it.
Now in the Arkansas game, with the exception of only two passes, Nuss' play was extraordinary for a brand new true freshman fresh out of high school.
Moreover, that long pass that Nuss completed to Jack Bech at the back of the end zone while under immense pressure was off the charts. In fact, the only QBs who could have completed that pass was Garrett Nussmeier and maybe Patrick Mahomes.
Moreover, genius, Nuss was not the reason why LSU lost that game. Indeed, had TDP not fumbled away that bad wildcat snap deep in Arkansas territory, that game never would have gone into overtime, had Cade York not missed that routine for him field goal, that game never would have gone into overtime, and had Brian Thomas, Jr caught that perfectly thrown pass to the edge of the end zone after the Arkansas defender had fallen down, that game never would have gone into overtime.
Not to mention that had Kayshon Boutte not been hurt, LSU would have easily won that game by 2 to 3 touchdowns.
Did Nuss play perfectly? No, he threw two interceptions. However, as proven above, Nuss was not the reason why LSU lost that game. In fact, Nuss was the entire reason why LSU was even in that game, in the first place, until the very end.
Meanwhile, Max Johnson was pulled from the game after he kept holding onto the ball too long and was getting sacked repeatedly. Not to mention that Max Johnson hit the transfer portal as soon as the regular season ended because he knew it was inevitable that he'd lose his starting job to Nussmeier in 2022.
Hence, you are obviously severely mentally incompetent.
quote:
If he’s improved then fine but Jayden is light years more game ready and battled tested than Nuss as of today.
Like I said wingnut, JD's lame experience is irrelevant and in which luckily is a good thing for JD. Because if the decision was being made based on JD's lame experience, there would be no way in a million years that he would ever be named the starter. Not to mention that what Nuss lacks in experience, he more than makes up for in talent.
quote:
His numbers are the best on the team.
Yeah, you are right! A whole three passes completed in the entire spring game was amazing.
quote:
I’m not saying he going to win the job but i will say Jayden is NFL draft prospect.
You're obviously trying to be a comedienne. No one can be this stupid.

Brennan is under center for FSU.
What exactly has Brennan done since recommitting to play for LSU after no one was interested in him in the transfer portal that makes you believe that it is a lead pipe cinch that Brennan will be named the starter for Florida State?
Posted on 7/19/22 at 8:35 pm to VeniceBeachMouton
Based purely on spring game, JD is QB 3 right now. You can't throw, you can't start at QB in the SEC. Plain and simple. His accuracy was awful and even if Brennan has 0 mobility he can still sling it especially on deep balls.
I agree on Nuss. He has lots of potential but just a few months before spring game he was absolutely lost. This board seems to have a short memory. He's barely a year in the program. Cool a bit.

Daniels beat a Top 5 Oregon team and led a team for 3 yrs.
Considering that LSU's best position group is it's wide receiver corps, starting someone as piss poor at passing as Jayden Daniels would be a crime.

Probably the 2 picks he threw in the only game where he had meaningful time.
That wasn't the reason why LSU lost that game. Had TDP not fumbled away that bad wildcat snap deep in Arkansas territory, that game never would have gone into over time, had Cade York not missed that routine for him field goal, that game never would have gone into overtime, and had Brian Thomas, Jr caught that perfectly thrown pass to the edge of the end zone after the Arkansas defender had fallen down, that game never would have gone into overtime.
Not to mention that the only reason why LSU was even in that game until the very end, in the first place, was because of Nuss.
Meanwhile, that long pass Nuss completed to the back of end zone to Jack Bech under immense pressure was out of this world. As the only QBs who could have thrown that pass were Nuss and maybe Patrick Mahomes.
You're obviously not mentally competent enough to realize how extremely talented Nuss is relative to MB or JD.

When Nuss wins 3 SEC games in a row, I will believe.
Please put down the crack pipe. Brennan's won-loss record at LSU is one win and two losses against some of the worse competition in over a decade.

Nuss’s sample size is very small and I dont See what he did last year to generate the hype.
He had this hype going into Arkansas. He had this hype after a 3 for 10 McNEese game.
He also likes to scramble back ways and take long sacks.
Seek mental help because you need it.

The irony is…I literally can’t even.
I’ve been on this board long enough to usually have a pretty good handle on who’s behind handles like yours. Like what kind of person. But, embarrassingly, you’ve got me stumped. You’re too dedicated to be a troll—even the worst stroll wouldn’t put this kind of effort into it. And you’re WAY too terrible to be a Nuss family member. I guarantee if Nuss read your posts, even he’d be embarrassed by them and want nothing to do with you. Nobody in Nuss’s camp would appreciate hat you’re doing. Because you’re doing the exact opposite of what you think you may be accomplishing. I like Nuss. Wanted him to start all last year. Think he has a better shot to start this year than probably most people besides you. But you are so fricking terrible, and we hate you so much, it unfortunately rubs off on Nuss by proxy. People that may have wanted to give him a shot hate you so much, that they won’t just out of spite.
So I can’t get your angle, can’t imagine the human being behind this username. Because you’re too stupid to be an effective troll, and too stupid and un self-aware to understand you are doing the EXACT opposite of what you’re trying to do. But I can’t really imagine someone so stupid who thinks that this schtick is actually winning people over. Maybe you’ve just beat me, and if so, tip of the cap. But I honestly can’t imagine a human being doing what you’re doing that is not so incredibly pathetic that someone as savvy as me on this site can’t even comprehend their real life existence.

You're obviously unhinged. Plus, a 3rd grader writes better than you. Indeed, it would literally suck to be you.

You copy and paste the same diatribe in every thread. I haven’t been on tRant in like two weeks and - surprise - here you are again.
Hence, I think you are either certifiable or really committed to this troll job.

This exactly. I think the Nuss hype is all bots or something.

I heard that the Nussmeier family had to file a protective order against you. Let the kid be a kid and let him breathe, he will play if he is ready. Sucking off his mop up duty action, while we are down 3 scores when it could have been 5 scores, against the back ups playing prevent and his spring scrimmage is comical.
We get it, you're his biggest fan. I wouldn't get too close if I were you. Hard to post if the judge takes away your electronics, creeper.

I've noticed he uses "indeed, thus, moreover, hence, etc" a lot. There was a poster here who did that a lot too and I can't think of his screen name but it was the exact same type of comments and the same delivery too.

Remember Purple Tiger King? Armchair is his alter.

He uses the same few insults on people on recruiting board that challenge him with logic. He calls people mentally deficient but seeing how he can't handle being challenged on his points even with facts then resorts to a limited voc on insults, he's clearly the one who needs to seek mental help.

Armpit tiger you are hilarious. You espouse the exact hope that I mention in the title. Nuss deserves the right to get better like the rest of the qb’s but he can’t hold jaydens jock at this stage of time.

I noticed the same a couple of weeks ago. Same style and shitty takes. Repeats the same shite over and over again. "Unhinged"
Sucked off Eddie O and Max. Deion Smith was Justin Jefferson 2.0
