Question should be why the whole handshake thing was an issue to begin with.

Prior to his ME trip they said he will not shake hands with anyone. Then he got to Israel and the dumbass in chief couldn't remember the new rule and shook errrrbodies hand. Even attempted to shake the hand of a lady whose religious practices prevents her from touching any man not in her family, handshakes included. She confused the idiot with a bow.

Then he gets to SA and does what he does. Idiot.

Funny thing is a fist pump is a more friendly gester than a handshake so looks more like they are pals optics wise than of a handshake would have occured.
