College football news had us ranked 35 at end of last year with 6-7 record. USCe was at 38 with a 7-6 record. So yes 7-5 would be top 40 considering strength of schedule.

I’ll put my head in a chopping block here. No way in hell we lose 5 games this year. Way too much talent on the defense alone!
