Of course it’s crazy but how stupid do you have to be to try to take weed to Russia? And I have dabbled but I wouldn’t attempt to fly with it anywhere. But Russia? And now? I don’t know if this meets the Darwin Awards criteria but if it does then she should be nominated.

Actually happens all the time. Carlos Santana tried to slide through the Houston airport with five grams of marijuana on him. It doesn’t seem like the worst crime ever, but the singer was still put on probation. He also had to sing at an anti-drug rally as a part of his deal.

And then there was Paul McCartney of Beatles fame and fortune. In 1980, McCartney was caught in the Tokyo Airport with half a pound of marijuana. McCartney admitted that the drugs were his and he even said he brought them along because drugs are a massive no-no in Japan. Truth is stranger than fiction.

Songstress Dionne Warwick thought she was being coy by sliding a few joints in some of her lipstick containers. When TSA discovered the drugs, Warwick denied everything. In the end, the singer took a plea deal and agreed to dome drug counseling.

In 2008, Snoop Dogg was banned from entering the country of Norway when he was caught trying to bring eight grams of marijuana through the airport.

One of my all-time favorites was when Sylvester Stallone tried to smuggle 48 vials of human growth hormone into Australia during a promotional trip. 48 vials for a quick promotional tour? No need to embalm this dude when he finally checks out.

To name only a very few of the many. And we haven't even got into celebs trying to bring concealed weapons on board.
