Quick question, now that he’s got the #1 class coming in, superstar transfers, a possible #1 overall pick among other high rounders already here and a successful MLB pitching coach can you guys finally agree there are no more excuses?

There’s a reason they don’t but thanks for answering my question even though it was rhetorical. I knew you guys wouldn’t disappoint.

Are you asking if the standard should be winning championships at LSU with a loaded roster and Major League coaching? We’ve already established he’s blameless no matter the outcome so I don’t know what you’re asking?

not sure what kind of “gotcha” you thinking you have on people.
but it’s literally impossible to answer that without knowing the “why”, “how”, “to whom”, etc if he doesn’t win.

but honestly if the most talented and best coached team won every single year, Alabama would be celebrating some what’re around their 12th straight football title

I didn’t say they win every year but I’ve noticed you guys love to deflect from the topic and derail as fast as you can. Btw since you’re comparing us to Bama should we expect 6 titles within the next 13-15 years?

Excuse for what? His job is to do all that and build a program that is consistently a national seed. The players still have to go out and do the damn thing. And the more they’re in position, the more they will. But if you’re one of the dumb fricks who think it’s LSU’s birthright to win the NC every year and anything less needs “an excuse,” well, then you’re too fricking stupid to converse with any longer. I feel like you are, so I bid you a good day.

By the way, for all those that think like that, that every season that doesn’t end in a championship is a failure, are you a part of the dogpile in Omaha? Do you get to hoist the trophy? You get a ring? For fans it should be about the journey. Otherwise, what’s really the point?

The best team in college baseball hasnt won the world series the last 21 years and running? So, in curious, whats the level of expectation that madking refuses to answer

My expectation is to win national titles. Not every year but from what he’s done so far already this summer I think next year could be one of those expected instances. That’s why I asked and found it sadly predictable that you guys recoiled and jumped immediately to excuse mode.

no we haven’t.
just some of us already had our 12th birthday and realize that the answer is almost never black and white.

but people like you on the other hand are already prepared to call next year a failure and blame the coach before anyone even knows (officially) who is leaving, who is coming back, what recruits end up on campus etc.

You seem awfully irritated about something that hasnt happened.

Please, layout your expectations. How often should he host a regional? Super, go to omaha? Win it all?

Look at you people, one after another creating an entirely false narrative out of what I said when I specifically said otherwise.

excuse mode?

you literally just strapped this guy with “anything less than a national title is a failure” which is utterly ridiculous.

well be amongst the favorites next year.
we should absolutely compete for it and make a run.

but without knowing how/why, or even if we fall short all you’re doing is bitching for the sake of bitching.
