As much as I am against abortions, the clinics on the map are clustered in the right spots if they must exist.

Looks like business opportunities to me. Some enterprising doctor should open up a clinic in Jai, New Mexico (SE corner of the state). It's a 40-mile direct drive north from I-20 at Monahans, TX. It would easily be the closest facility for anyone in western Texas all the way into the central part of the state.
Same thing for Brown's Valley, MN. It sits in that little notch on the western side of Minnesota, putting it almost on the state line between North and South Dakota.
