They usually close for a week or two in the summer — this goes way back before COVID.
I like the pizza there, but the service is pretty awful. I remember going there some random weekend night, way before COVID, and being told it would take some crazy amount of time to get a pizza. Plus, it’s cash only

The usual reason for the wait in the restaurant is the huge amount of take out business.
