Not hiring him especially at the time of hiring was the absolute right decision. Anyone seeing otherwise is pretty fricking blind to the situation. His team got hot at the right moment which is baseball for you. He has accomplished absolutely dick in all these years before this and consistently underachieved. JJ was the better hire on paper unquestionably and probably will be the better hire when it's all said and done.

There were legitimate reason to think LSU could hire a better coach and I believe they did.
At the time of the hire LSU hired a coach that had been to Omaha more times than Bianco had been and including this season they have been to Omaha the same amount of time. Bianco has been a head coach for over a decade longer than Jay Johnson.

Screw you. Bianco was the captain of the LSU team that put the program on the map nationally by upsetting Texas A&M in 1989. He was also an assistant to Skip during CWS wins in 1993, 1996, and 1997. He did a lot more for LSU's baseball program than you ever have.
