Help me understand something about V Kontake (VK.com)

It’s the Russian Facebook. The largest social network in Europe with over 100 million users.
Everything they talk about on there is from the The United States. All the movies they talk about is from the USA. Movies stars-USA. Television-USA. Technology like cellphones, computers, mobile devices, etc. They were into the Depp-Heard trial. They are obsessed with the West. Their fashion is from the West. All their gossip is about the West.
They want to be us!!! So why do they embrace the utter shite they have? I guess they make decent vodka. We do better now. Know anybody that owns a Russian car?
Why not join up with the winning team and give up living in the past like 75 years ago? They want what we have. Can you think of anything they produce that you want? I literally can’t think of a fricking thing. They have NOTHING I wish we had.

The Ural motorcycles are cool. I would like to scoot around with my dog on a motorcycle. I like how almost everyone in Russia has a vacation Dacha. Or access to one. That's pretty cool.

newsflash: American culture dominates the world. Ive traveled to like 30 countries and everywhere they know about movies music and who the president is. American culture is nearly inescapable.

Russian reset, approving uranium mines, getting caught back channeling promises to Putin of doing more after reelection, and the 80s called in debate over concern about Russia that all Democrats loved. Even the stand down on cyber issues in summer of 2016.
Some of the Russian love with Obama was that he had a thing for Putin. Michelle’s manliness could only go so far.

They used to smuggle western music behind the curtain on X-rays film during the Cold War. Their desire for Western media has always been a thing. I'm not sure why you're making a big deal about this.

I didn't want to take a vaccine I didn't need but I needed to keep my job. There's not much difference, they have no choice.
