how funny is this?

apparently that was the "loudest and craziest" their stadium has been in a while

on our game winning TD drive their stadium was pretty much silent.

was i just out of it or were they actually loud?

Actually, for them, at times, they were pretty loud. NOTHING compared to TS, though.

A buddy of mine who went with me to this game is a big LSU fan and he couldn't believe how we got jacked up for this game.

the "LSU fan" must have never been to TS before

i just never remember thinking "damn this place is loud" even once. it was always just normal crowd noise. i feel like i missed something

exactly. when Lee threw the pick 6 at Auburn i remember going thinking how fricking loud it was

at Florida, before the game and after Harvins 1st TD i thought the same thing

never once last night did i think it was loud enough to affect the players on the field.

It was loud...not earth-shattering loud. I ranked it, in my other post, as the 6th loudest in the SEC. But there were some very loud moments.

Don't get me wrong, it was a decent atmosphere, but if that's the loudest and craziest their stadium has been in a long time, I feel sorry for their program.

We were laughing after the game about how "non-intimidating" that place was to play. It did get loud after the INT, but that was about it. People were even leaving at halftime and all throughout the second half ... empty seats EVERYWHERE@

Is this a joke. Was this really their best atmosphere. It never got too loud except for that INT but even then I could still here everyone around me. The fans all left with under 4 minutes to go I though about how awful of a fan base that was to do that. The game was far from over. A fumble recovery for a TD was possible. I thought it was nice during the pregame intro but If that's there best atmosphere then wow.

their program's history is a joke (along with all their other sports). i feel sorry for them really, they don't know what the big time is like. let them have their fun though.

I was at Auburn which was a great environment and very loud. I assume Swamp obvioulsy was as well. I was very underwhelmed by Williams-Bryce Stadium. It may have gotten loud a couple times, but if thats the loudest that place has gotten in 20 years than it sucks to be a gamecock fan.

i wasnt at auburn but i was at BHG...if auburn was louder than that...hats off to them because BHG was rocking. I was sitting on the deck in front of the luxury sweets and i could feel it shaking.

i actually noticed on tv how energetic the SC crowd seemed but it didnt seem like it was that loud.

This happens in Tiger Stadium & PMAC as well.
If you say any different, you haven't been to many games.
I agree with previous posters though, it wasn't very loud. Aside from Vandy, it seemed like the least loudest of all the stadiums in the SEC.
The seats being back from the field might have something to do with it.

I was pissed because I left all my glow-sticks at the rave party in Five Points on Friday...
