The biggest is probably most people just didn’t want a Lightyear movie. Look no further than the trailers for the last two Pixar movies on the official Pixar YouTube channel. Turning Red has 45M views on its trailer, Lightyear has 19M. The interest in this movie was pretty small from the get go.

I would have been excited for a lightyear movie and my son every time he sees an advertisement on ESPN etc. wants to go see it.
Due to Disney's attempts at grooming I and my son will not go see it. Small bit o money that they will miss but every bit counts when trying to contribute to an embarrassing flop of an opening weekend.
They might not care about my $20 but Pixar will care about the embarrassment of one of their signature characters getting smoked by minions.
ETA I might take him to minions just for that fact alone

Its 100% disneys fault for making a shite movie and then attacking the audience, numbnuts.
Im sure they knew it wouldn't do well too. Besides getting banned, you usually go after an audience AFTER poor reception, not before.
