as they were in the second half against USCe?

Personally, I think they will try to be, but that first little dump to Knowshon out of the backfield that goes for 75 yards will end that rather quickly.

Discuss.

Linebackers have to prepare better for the this as well as breaking up that crossing route.

Read an article on CFN that made a good point. We were so agressive in the 2nd half b/c right as the half started we sent garcia out limping. The DC's realized this was their weakness now and exploited it heavily. Just sent the house every time. It worked, thank goodness.

that and the fact that USC had absolutely no running game.

Yes. Stafford is well-known for acting like a dumbass when getting flushed out of the pocket or pressured. This only helps LSU case for turnovers. I'm thinking 3 ints on Sat for Stafford

the answer is obviously no...what gave lsu the opportunity to rack up 6 sacks was the complete nonexistence of USCs rushing game. it will be very tough to commit as many men without exposing ourselves to some serious run gains by UGA

Our defense should still play aggressive, but the play calling will not be. Stafford isnt a Freshman QB. You cant blitz the house against him. I think our Defense is finally starting to come together and I hope it continues. Our secondary coverage dictates who we can afford to blitz. In order to send more ppl than they can block comes down to how well our secondary can cover. simple enough.

UGA = pro style offense

stafford is not really mobile

our coaches have no excuse not to be aggressive and let our DL play

however, if you put the four end defensive line in on obvious passing situations.....

UGA is a very good team. They'll be sky high this week. Stafford is seasoned with great skill players. The pressure works both ways; if we lose we're likely done in the SEC race. Hopefully Jarrett won't throw another pick-6 and Stafford will. Odds don't really favor us in the QB arena for this one though.

I bet we're more passive against UGA, out of respect for—or fear of—Moreno, Stafford, King, Green and Massaquoi. Me, I'd like to see a little more aggression, like what we saw last night. Hell, if we get burned and go in trailing at the half, we just make a couple perfect halftime adjustments and win going away. No big deal.

If they play better on the perimeter and put pressure on the OB. Our LB's are haveing trouble making plays side line to sideline. We are getting beat on the perimeter. The defensive ends have to do a better job at containment. Presure on Stafford is the key to slowing down ther passing attack. They are going to have to play agreesive smashmouth football in order to beat GA. If they play like they did aganist FLA and paly like they did in the first two quarters aganist SC were are doomed.

Ditto's. Bama ALSO played very DISCIPLINED defense against UGA, one of Nicky-Boys trademarks. Few running lanes were open for Moreno. They tackled very well, especially LB's and DB's. They covered WR's exceedingly well. IFF we do the same thing, we win. If not, well .... it's wait until next year! Team with fewest mental mistakes wins this one.
